Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of the Haven app and this website. Using either means you accept them. They are deliberately short.
Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Haven on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not resell the app, redistribute its assets, or reverse-engineer it except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted.
What you make
The islands you build are yours. You may share, publish and use images you export from Haven, including commercially. We claim no ownership over your arrangements. The underlying artwork, code and the Haven name remain ours.
Purchases
The current version of Haven is free and contains no in-app purchases. If a future version adds paid content, it will be sold through the App Store or Google Play, and their payment, refund and subscription rules will apply. Any auto-renewing terms would be disclosed at the point of purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google, not by us.
Availability
Haven runs entirely on your device and needs no connection from us to keep working. We may still change, suspend or discontinue the app, this website, or any feature, and we may stop distributing new versions at any time.
Your island is your responsibility
Saved islands live in local storage on your device. They can be lost if you delete the app, clear its data, or if the operating system reclaims that storage. We keep no copy and cannot recover one. Export anything you would be sorry to lose.
No warranty
Haven is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will run on every device.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of Haven. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusions above, so they may not apply to you.
Apple and Google
Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and have no responsibility for Haven. They are, however, entitled to enforce these terms against you as third-party beneficiaries of the licence above. Support is provided by us, not by them — see Support.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page, and continued use after that means you accept the updated version.
