How do I play?
- Place — pick a tile from the palette, then tap a cell.
- Erase — long-press a cell, or switch to the Erase tool.
- Move around — drag to pan, pinch to zoom.
- Fill — the Fill tool carpets every empty cell with grass, leaving terrain you placed yourself alone.
- Flip — mirror a piece before placing it so it faces the other way.
Does it save automatically?
Tap Save to store your island on the device. It reloads automatically the next time you open the app, with the camera where you left it. There is no cloud backup — see below.
I lost my island
Islands are stored in local storage on your device only. They are gone if the app is deleted, its data is cleared, or the operating system reclaims that storage to free space. We keep no copy and cannot recover one.
The reliable way to keep an island is to export it as an image with the Share button. That gives you a picture you can keep anywhere.
How do I start over?
The Reset tool clears the grid and lays down a fresh starter village. This cannot be undone, so export first if you want to keep what you have.
There's no sound
Haven respects your device's silent switch and volume. If the device is muted, placement sounds stay quiet. Haven has no background music — only short sounds when you place a piece.
When is it on the App Store?
Haven is in preparation for the App Store and Google Play. It is a mobile app — there is no browser version, and this site is the landing page rather than somewhere to play. Once released it works offline, with no account.
Are the other worlds coming?
Mediterranean is finished and free. Caribbean is in production; Tropical and Scandinavia are planned. Each is a complete set of pieces in its own palette rather than a recolour.
Reporting a problem
Email support@vibehome.app. It helps a lot if you include:
- Your device and OS version (for example, iPhone 15, iOS 18.4).
- What you did, and what happened instead.
- A screenshot, if the problem is something you can see.
